High Court of Sabah and Sarawak At Kuching

The Justices of High Court

The Justices at  the High Court in Kuching are :

1) The Right Honourable Justice Tan Sri Datuk Amar Steve Shim Lip Kiong, the Chief Judge of High Court of Sabah and Sarawak.  His Lordship also sits at the Federal Court of Malaysia as one of the Federal Court Judges.  See Chief Judge's profile.

2) High Court I - Y.A Datuk Richard Malanjum.  His Lordship  had been elevated as Hon. Judge of  the Court of Appeal of Malaysia on 6 August, 2002 and is now serving in Kuala Lumpur.  While His Lordship was in Kuching from 1.5.2002 to 15.8.2002, he introduced the work system in High Court I and this Homepage is the result of His Lordship's guidance and encouragement.  A new Judge is expected soon to fill the void.

3) High Court II - Y.A Dato' Zakaria Sam, Judicial  Commissioner.  Since the elevation of His Lordship Justice Datuk Richard Malanjum to the Court of Appeal of Malaysia on 6.8.2002, Court I cases are referred to and heard by His Lordship Dato' Zakaria Sam until the post of Judgeship in High court I is filled.
